Meet the owner
Lori has been an acupuncturist since 2004, graduating from South Baylo University with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed with the SC Board of Medical Examiners as well as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Lori discovered acupuncture while exploring health care alternatives for a pain condition. In her search, she experienced and studied many alternative medicine modalities and fell in love with Acupuncture as well as Aromatherapy, Touch for Health, and is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She has studied with a Shaman in California, learning various Energy Healing techniques, and with Morris Netherton, becoming certified as a Past Life Therapist. While living in Japan, Lori embraced the Asian way of living and diet, and fell in love with the culture.
Lori is committed to preserve, protect and sustain the environment. She is a member of "City of Columbia Green Business." She also volunteers at a Trauma Clinic which provides complementary healing therapies for trauma relief for women as well as an additional healing program that is open to the public.
She has spent 30+ years as a nurse working in PICU, NICU, Pediatrics, maternal infant care, Clinical Supervisor at the Pasadena AIDS Service Center, Pediatric Trauma, ER, Hospice, and has been a Nursing Instructor both in the didactic and clinical settings. She is licensed with the SC Board of Nursing.
